My Honest Bitsler Review (Tested With Real Deposit)

Bitsler is operating in the cryptocurrency gambling space since 2015. This casino can be considered one of the industry’s long-livers. I have a lot of respect for brands that were able to maintain their reputation during the years they were offering services to users. So today, I am going to create a detailed Bitsler review with all the nuances regarding their activity.

For this review, I have made a first deposit, I have completed several levels in the loyalty program, and I have also requested a cashout. Is Bitsler a perfect website for crypto gambling? You will find that out pretty soon.

✔️ Is Bitsler legit? (5/5)

I was not able to find any issues related to Bitsler’s fairness. This casino is operating under the Curacao license and promptly pays out all the cashouts. The Curacao license is highly popular among the crypto casinos: it is pretty easy to get and it allows the casinos to publish original games.

At the same time, this license is useless in terms of players’ security. Curacao’s authorities do not actually care about anything as long as the gambling websites pay the license fee. But still, it is better to have this license rather than not having any license at all.

This is the section where most of the casinos start to experience different types of difficulties and lose points. Bitsler is not the exception. Let’s start with the positive things: the list of cryptocurrencies accepted here is comprehensive.

It includes all the mass-adopted crypto assets, together with several less popular coins.

The minimum withdrawal amount is dynamic, so this should automatically be adjusted according to the cryptocurrency rates.

At the time of writing this Bitsler review, the minimum amount to withdraw Bitcoin is 0.0003 BTC.

If we convert this to US dollars, then we get around 14 USD, which is an accessible amount.

I have also checked the minimum withdrawal amounts for other crypto assets, and they all stay at the same rate of 14 USD.

Now to the negative things: withdrawal fees. When you withdraw Bitcoin there are two fee options offered: low (0.0003 BTC) and high (0.0006 BTC)

At the current rate, you will have to pay 14 USD for a low fee and twice as much – 28 USD – for a high fee.

The support agent told me that their minimum withdrawal amounts are dynamic, so why don’t they use the same logic for withdrawal fees? I was able to make my first deposit by paying just a 0.32 USD fee, so there is no point to take 14 USD from the customer or even offer a 28 USD option.

You will also have to wager at least 15% of your deposit before making a withdrawal. But this requirement is miserable compared to 1x or even 2x deposit wagering requirements in other casinos.

The following is the notification that Bitsler showed me after I sent the coins. A useful feature that is absent in many casinos. Now I know that everything is fine and that my money is on the way.

A few minutes later, my transaction has received the network confirmation, so my deposit was credited to the account. Again, a very useful notification has informed me that I can actually start to play.

I like the selection of the coins that Bitsler offers to its users. There is no minimum amount to deposit and the withdrawal amounts are also reasonable. The biggest issue they have is related to the cashout fees, which should be adjusted to the current network requirements.

This section of the review gets only two points out of five. The withdrawal fees are much higher than actually needed. This practice wastes clients’ money.

🚀 Welcome bonuses (0/5)

This section brings no points as there are no welcome bonuses on offer for Bitsler new depositors.

The support is trying to sell their loyalty program instead of answering the question about the welcome offer. Even after I tried to get a more specific answer the support agent continued to spam with copy-pasted shit that I was not even asking about.

More and more casinos refuse to offer any sort of welcome offers nowadays. It looks like they are afraid of bonus abusers and do not know how to create a win-win welcome promotion, which would be beneficial to players and safe for business.

📢 Promotions (2/5)

Now let’s have a look at the promotions offered by Bitsler and that the support agent was very excited about.

The XP contest is the first promo that we shall review. It is a daily XP race that rewards the top 250 players with the biggest wagering amounts.

The contest is based on the XP points, which are credited for every 1 dollar you wagered in games. Most of the games will give you 2 XP points for each dollar wagered. Games with a low house edge, such as Dice or Baccarat will give you only 1 point.

You don’t need to opt-in for participating in the XP contest. I was even able to win a prize after wagering 1,140 USD in slots and collecting 2,280 XP.

To win the top prize you will have to wager a lot, but you still can compete for a smaller prize if you wager at least 1k per day.

While collecting XP you will also level up in the loyalty program offered by Bitsler.  

The beginning Iron levels will give you Bronze chests as a rewards.

To open these chests you have to achieve the Bronze 1 level.

The Bronze 1 level requires 300 USD to be wagered (600 XP) and will give you a key to open all the bronze chests.

Now, let me open those for you.

The first one rewarded me with a small amount of Bitcoin Gold.

I will list the results of all four cases below. As you can see the rewards are being credited randomly in different currencies.

After wagering 1,140 USD in slots I have achieved a Bronze 2 level and received another chest.

Here, I have received some TRON coins as a reward.

Now let’s see the total amount of rewards received so far.

If we convert this amount to USD, then we shall estimate the total rewards gained after achieving the Bronze 2 level.

So after wagering more than 1k USD I have received only 0.49 USD in rewards.

There is a lot of entertainment connected to the level up program: chests, keys, and the process of unboxing. But to be honest, the rewards are miserable and absolutely not worth it.

Another bad thing is that all the rewards are paid in different crypto assets. This might be a good move to promote cryptocurrencies, but in reality, it creates additional blocks. For example, I cannot exchange the altcoins to bitcoin using the internal Bitsler exchanger, because the amount I have is too small.

I also cannot withdraw the rewards due to the same reason, the minimum withdrawal is set to 14 USD for every crypto asset supported.

I cannot convert or withdraw my reward, so the only thing that is left for me is to play games with it. And here, we will only have two outcomes: I would lose it all, or I will be extremely lucky to multiply the balance to the withdrawable or exchangeable amount.

There is also a rakeback promotion available starting from the Gold 1 level. You will have to wager 32,500 USD to start receiving the rakeback.

Many other crypto casinos that I have reviewed so far are offering the rakeback right on the first level. Is there really a need to hide the rakeback from new-coming users? What is the rate of rakeback? If it is that small as the chest rewards, then it can become a huge disappointment for those users that wagered 32k USD to achieve it.

This section of Bitsler review gets only two points. You can compete for the daily rewards in XP contests and you will have a nice time opening the chests while you level up. But the amount of rewards you get in the chests is miserable compared to the number of wagers you need to make.

The other problem is that you will get your rewards in different coins all the time, which you cannot withdraw or exchange. I would prefer to get the rewards in the currency that I am using for playing. Why am I forced to receive Tron, Neo, or any other coins?

You have to enter your birthdate right at the time of registration.

Then, you will also need to fill out all your personal details to play slots from third-party providers.

According to the terms and conditions, the KYC verification can be requested at any time.

I have also decided to ask for additional information from the support team. As per the customer support agent, the verification is usually not being asked right on the first withdrawal.

This section of the Bitsler review gets three out of five points. You will have to share all the personal details if you want to get access to most of the games. The KYC verification will also be requested one day, but hopefully not right after the first cashout request.

⚡ Speed of withdrawals (5/5)

After playing for a while, I decided to request my first cashout to my Bitcoin wallet.

The withdrawal was instantly processed with no additional checks and pretty soon appeared on my BTC wallet.

🌐 Is VPN allowed? (5/5)

I was not able to find any information regarding the VPN in Bitsler’s terms and conditions, so I decided to address this question to the live support agent.

Here is what I was talking about in the Support section. Sometimes the answers are irrelevant as hell.

There is no VPN restriction in the casino’s T&C, so it looks like VPN usage is not forbidden.

If you are looking for a rewarding casino and you are used to often move your funds in and out, then Bitsler is definitely not your choice. You will not get any good additional prizes while you play, and you will have to pay a huge fee on every withdrawal.

The selection of the games is good and Bitsler also accepts a huge list of different cryptocurrencies, but these advantages can be easily found on many other casinos.
