My Honest Wintomato Review (Tested With A Real Deposit)

Wintomato is a pure crypto-gambling platform that supports casino games and sports betting. To be honest, I don’t really like the design and the layout of the website. It looks like a blast from the past. Despite this, the user counter on the bottom of the page shows that there are around 300 players hanging here online every time I check it.

What makes people visit this casino and play here? Today I am going to find out! To write this Wintomato review, I will make a first deposit and check out what bonuses and promotions are there on offer. As usual, I will also go through the T&Cs and try to have several chats with the support team. I will use my own money to play and test the casino to make this review honest and unbiased.

Wintomato operates under the Curacao license, which is very common in the crypto-gambling industry. It does not take a lot of effort to acquire a license from this regulatory authority and the maintenance cost is also relatively low.

Despite the fact that Evolution is listed in the FAQ section, I was not able to find it in the live lobby of the website. If you are a live casino fan, then the only provider available at the moment is Betgames.

The casino lobby is organized in a really wrong way. When I was searching for the Big Bad Wolf slot by Quickspin it showed that there were multiple games with the same name in the search results. This game has three editions, including Megaways and Christmas Special, and every edition had three outputs in the search results.  

This is a bit confusing. It could be possible that those games have different RTPs. Maybe this is just a visualization bug, but it complicates the navigation of the site.

I deduct two points in this section of Wintomato’s review. The first point is deducted for the limited selection of live casino providers, and the second point is deducted because of the weird lobby settings.

But the live chat support agent advised depositing at least 10 USDT if you do so for the first time. I am not sure what is the reason behind that, it was never explained to me.

In order to receive a withdrawal in Bitcoin you will have to pay a 0.0004 BTC transaction fee.

This is more than 6 USD at the current Bitcoin rate, which is a lot.

The FAQ section says that the casino is not taking any additional fees for processing the withdrawals.

This is the fee that the casino used when sending the cashout back to my wallet: 0.00003774 BTC.

This is around 0.60 USD at current rates and 10 times less compared to the amount deducted from the withdrawal.

I have seen the same thing happening on some other gambling platforms. The difference in the deducted amount and the actual fee allows the casino to earn an extra 6 dollars on each withdrawal made by its users. This is something that I would never accept and could be considered pure stealing.

You will also have to wager your deposit at least 1x time in order to get access to the withdrawal option, however, this was only confirmed by the support agent and never mentioned anywhere in Wintomato’s T&Cs. This is a common AML policy that almost all casinos apply. A 1x rule seems to be a standard in the industry.

I made my first deposit using Bitcoin.

The deposit here is not instant; it was credited to my balance only after getting several confirmations from the Bitcoin network.

I cannot give this section of Wintomato’s review more than two points. While the number of coins supported is good and the 1x deposit wagering rule is a standard, the fee deducted on the withdrawal is ridiculously high. It makes the website useless for small players, as you would have to use a good portion of your balance to pay the withdrawal fee.

There are two welcome bonuses that are available for newly registered players:

Is it worth taking any of these bonuses? Let’s make some simple calculations. Let’s say that we deposit 100 USD and get 100 USD on top in the form of bonuses. Now we need to wager 100 x 30 = 3000 USD in order to clear the wagering requirements.

If we play slot games with 96% RTP, then after making bets worth 3k USD we will lose 3000 x 4% = 120 USD. Remember that we have started the journey with 200 USD on our balance. Now after completing the wagering process, we only have 200 – 120 = 80 USD left, which is even less than our deposited amount.

This is a purely mathematical approach and real numbers will barely fit the values we got, but this is how it works on paper. You may hit the giant multiplier which will pay off all the math advantage, but most likely Wintomato welcome bonus won’t let you get any profit. Wintomato offers daily tournaments with prize pools varying from 100 to 2,500 USD.

Unfortunately, the rules and other important information is missing. So, it is hard to know how many prizes there are per contest and what kind of bets are accepted.

If we take one of the expired tournaments as an example, then the winner had to place 23+k in bets in order to win 1,250 USD, which is a reasonable prize.

Wintomato also runs a faucet where you can claim free coins 40 times per day.

But do not expect to make any solid profit using the faucet. First of all, the amount of money being distributed is miserably low. Second, you will anyway have to make a deposit of at least 50 USD in order to make the faucet money withdrawable.

While playing real money games and participating in different website activities, you will be collecting points. As I understand, there are no special perks or bonuses that you will get after moving to a higher level. The only purpose of these levels is to get access to a more profitable Fortune Wheel.

The Fortune wheel is one of the main promotions on Wintomato and it is divided into several divisions: Easy, Lucky, Super, and Mega.

The easy wheel will award you with small monetary prizes and free spins. You need to gain the 5^th level in order to spin the wheel. On top of that, you will also have to share Wintomato’s website on your social networks to make the winnings withdrawable.

The Lucky wheel requires you to wager at least 2k USD in the previous 24h to participate.

The Super wheel already has some better prizes on offer, but you have to wager 10k USD to reach the 10^th level.

To spin the Mega wheel, you have to be on level 25 and wager 50k USD in the previous 24 hours. This is not something that an avid gambler could do, so the final wheel is designed for highrollers only.

Another interesting feature of Wintomato is the internal currency exchange. This is a tool that could help to convert different rewards into one currency. Every exchange deal has a commission rate and a minimum exchange amount, which makes the process a bit expensive and complicated.

I give this section of Wintomato’s review two points out of five. After wagering more than 500 USD I did not get any rewards in any of the casino’s promos. There is a chance to win something in the daily tournaments, however, without knowing their T&Cs it would be really hard to participate.

I also had no chance to spin the Fortune wheel, but I doubt that this kind of promotion can become profitable. It looks like a huge part of the traffic sitting online at Wintomato is just trying to farm some money using the faucet and wheel.

And the answer was finally received 40 minutes later at 15:30.

It looks like the support quality at Wintomato is poor. I could see several moderators in the website chat and one of those guys was actually managing my live chat inquiry. I believe there is no dedicated support team here in place and chat moderators keep an eye on personal chats as well, trying to manage those in their spare time. Is there any reason for you to start playing at Wintomato? Unfortunately, no. The same game selection could be found at any other online casino with better navigation and design. There are no rewarding promotions or bonuses that could also help Wintomato to outstand from the competitors.

If you think to make any profit farming free faucets and chat rains, then a huge withdrawal fee will just kill all your efforts. I would highly recommend picking another crypto casino with better bonuses, responsible support, and free-of-charge withdrawals.
