My Honest Wolf.bet Review (Tested With Real Deposit)

Wolf.bet is a fast-growing cryptocurrency casino that I started to notice more often on bitcointalk and different gambling-related websites. It is famous for the so-called Dice game, but recently, there were some slots and live dealer games added to the arsenal.

For this Wolf.bet review I have deposited 0.005 BTC, played some games, asked several questions to support agents, and successfully received my cashout. The goal is to compile as much information as possible and write an honest opinion about this casino.

✔️ Is Wolf.bet legit? (5/5)

Wolf.bet is operating with a Curacao license, which is released by one of the most popular authorities among crypto gambling websites. The secret of this license’s popularity is related to how easy it is to obtain it. You have to basically pay the legal authority on a monthly basis, and you are good to launch your gambling project. There are no serious regulations behind this authority.

Maybe this is one of the reasons why crypto-focused websites decide to go with this licensing. Cryptocurrency is still not all-around regulated itself, so cooperation with less regulated license authorities seems logical.

I don’t mean that a Curacao licensed casino should not be trusted. You just need to be a bit more careful when picking a Curacao gambling website to play at.

Wolf.bet casino is operating since 2019 and I was not able to find any problems or scam accusations against them. Therefore, I give this section of the review the maximum five points available.

🎲 Games and providers (2/5)

There were only a few games presented on Wolf.bet once the project was first released. The sportsbook, slots, and live casino games were recently added to the collection. Despite this, the games’ selection remains relatively small.

For slot players, there are only five different game providers available. Live casino is presented with Evolution. At the time of writing, there are around 150 different game titles available for you to play. Compared to other casinos, this amount is extremely low.

I give this section of the Wolf.bet review only two points out of five. The choice of games should definitely be expanded. At the current state, all competitors are beating Wolf casino in this aspect.

🎰 Slots RTP (5/5)

While the slot selection is small, you can still check the RTP information when hovering your mouse over the game thumbnail.

Having publicly available Return to Player information adds up to the credibility of casino brands. I like when casinos try to be as transparent as possible. This section receives the maximum points available.

💰 Payment methods (1/5)

Wolf.bet is accepting multiple crypto assets both for deposit and withdrawals: you can use 16 different cryptocurrencies, including the popular ones such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tron, Ripple, and Dogecoin.

I have made my first deposit with Bitcoin. As you can see, the transaction fee required this day was only 0.34 USD.

I have received a confirmation that my deposit is on the way to Wolf.bet’s balance. It is always good to know that money was sent to the correct wallet and that everything is ok. Now, I just need to wait for the confirmation to start playing.

According to the support agent, there are no wagering requirements for the deposited amount, meaning that you can request your withdrawal any time you want.

Now it is time to check the withdrawal fees that Wolf.bet deducts from every cashout amount. For Bitcoin, the withdrawal fee is 0.00043 BTC, which is around 20 USD at the time of writing.

I was able to make a BTC deposit with a 0.34 USD network fee, so I decided to check with the support why they charge that much for a withdrawal.

The support agent told me that this fee is being used to send out the transaction and the whole amount will be used as a network fee.

The agent has also confirmed that he is aware of how the blockchain works and that the fee will be visible in the public transaction information. I did ask this question on purpose because I am pretty sure that the website will not use the whole amount for sending my withdrawal.

Now, here is the screenshot of my withdrawal. As you can see, the cashout was sent with a 0.000215 BTC fee.

There are two problems with this fee:

  1. It is twice as less than what was actually deducted from me
  2. The actual network fee that day was 30 times lower than Wolf.bet spent on that transaction

When I reached the live support for an explanation, I have received a totally different answer from another guy. Now, he tells me that the withdrawal fee is not equal to the transaction fee and that there are many other factors affecting the withdrawal fee.

This section of the Wolf.bet review gets only one point out of five. A 20 USD-worth withdrawal fee deduction makes no sense. You can clearly see that I was able to make a deposit with only a 0.34 USD fee.

The casino is wasting clients’ money. Not only it sends out the cashout with extremely high fees, but it also keeps half of the fee amount with no clear explanation.

🚀 Welcome bonuses (0/5)

There are no welcome offers available for the new Wolf.bet players. There are many casinos that are also operating with no welcome bonuses, making it hard to distinguish one brand from another. Zero points here, unfortunately.

📢 Promotions (2/5)

The first thing that attracted my attention is the slogan of the Wolf.bet casino published on the main page: here everyone is treated like a VIP! That is a perfect marketing catch, but what do we really get?

This is what we see in the casino dashboard. It looks like you will not be treated like a VIP until you actually become a VIP. In order to become a VIP, you need to reach the Hunter rank.

What do you need to gain that rank? This should probably be something simple, that everyone could achieve, right? Not really, you need to wager 10k USD to reach the first VIP level.

The loyalty program has been wrongly designed. 10k USD in bets is a lot. Moreover, it would definitely not be achievable for everyone. The Hunter level will also offer you a 10% rakeback, which is calculated based on the house edge.

I decided to check the formula for the rakeback when I play slot games that have a higher house edge.

The support agent does not even know that they offer games with a higher house edge. I have explained to him how slots work and that they cannot have a 1% house edge. This is clearly visible when you check the RTP rate.

He promised to check the information at 14:36. He came back with the answer at 15:23. It took him almost 1 hour to figure out how the promotion is actually working.

So the final answer is that the rakeback for slot games is paid absolutely improperly. Wolf.bet does not care about the actual house edge of the games it offers. It pays a smaller rakeback to slot players.

Let’s have a look at other promotions of this casino. The VIP wheel, which is also probably designed for everyone, as everyone is treated like a VIP, is not available for me, since I need to wager 10k first and become a Hunter.

Another promo that I found is called Wolf Race and it rewards the top 50 players who have wagered the most bets in 24 hours. This is the only promotion that is available for you right from the start before you become a VIP player.

I give this section of the Wolf.bet review only two points out of five. The VIP program is only achievable for high rollers and not designed for small or medium tier players. The rakeback for slots is not properly calculated. Even if you reach the rakeback after wagering 10k, you will get 3 to 5 times less than what you actually should.

I could not reach the first level of the loyalty program myself. If I would try to do this playing a 96% RTP slot, then I would lose 10,000 x 4% = 400 USD in the long run. This is not even comparable to the deposit amount I’ve made.

🔎 KYC and anonymity (3/5)

Like pretty much all licensed casinos, Wolf.bet is also required to perform KYC verifications of its users.

The support agent confirmed that this verification would most likely not be conducted right before the first withdrawal.

But if you plan to play at Wolf.bet on a regular basis, be prepared to send the KYC documents they request.

👨‍💻 Customer support (2/5)

The customer support is reachable through a Live chat, but the quality of the service is really low. The agents give controversial answers and can disappear for up to 1 hour to check something with the team.

The whole situation with the withdrawal fee made me angry. One agent said that the fee is being used as the network transaction payment, and another agent stated that these two fees are not anyhow connected.

⚡ Speed of withdrawals (5/5)

I have requested my Bitcoin withdrawal at 5:10 pm.

It was released two minutes later at 5:12 pm.

This Wolf.bet review section gets five out of five points for the instant withdrawal processing.

🌐 Is VPN allowed? (5/5)

The support agent has confirmed that it is safe to use VPN to play here. Let’s hope that this information is accurate, as I was not able to find any confirmation of that in the T&C.

🏁 Final verdict (3/5)

Wolf.bet has a small choice of games, huge withdrawal fees, a controversial support, and a hard-to-reach VIP loyalty program. There are lots of other crypto-friendly casinos that offer better services compared to this one.

I would definitely pick another crypto gambling website, as there are no unique features that would convince me to keep playing here despite all the problems.

Due to the legal concerns in my country, I prefer to play at a casino that is licensed and wolf.bet is a perfect choice for me. Since I am very active in the casino, I often get RAIN. I like this feature as it gives me the opportunity to earn free money while playing. Also here you can get up to 15% Rakeback.
I am a big fan of wagering competitions and wolf.bet’s daily $1000 Wagering contest is awesome and something not to be missed. Another thing that I appreciate is a lot is the ability to choose from a variety of coins to deposit and play. The wolf bet site supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Trx, XRP, and many others.
